Hi everyone Iv purchased a ring 20 what I am restoring,

Just after some info the serial number is 20c300787

Does this mean it’s a ring 20c date 30/07/87?

What’s the difference between the models? Thanks

Will upload some photos this evening on my computer. It’s got a mariner 150 but have found out it’s no good so on the hunt for an engine. I want to put a 200-225 on it. Just wanted to no a bit of history of the boat.
