Regardless of the majority of opinions, I was always of the understanding that a splashed hull, boat, console or any given part of such, is something taken from the original production and altered or interfered with, IN ANY WAY.
It may suit some people to put their own spin on how they see this using words like "illegal" or "morally illegal".
Pathetic!!!!
Must be something wrong with ones head lol lol lol

Then it shows what little knowledge or understanding you have!
Splashing is theft, but buying the rights or paying a royalty to the owner and or designer makes it legal.
The example you are using is the latter, as the boat and rights were purchased from the owner, and the designer is involved with the project.

Would this be illegal?? as far as i can see there starts to be a gray area here where repairs finish and splashing begins.

Fancy a RACE? We own Cool Runnings II in Salcombe

Don't ban him Jon......
BoatMad needs some entertainment in these quiet months, whether it be, woahh look at that crash, coorr look how quick that boat is or what an absolute incompetent ****wit!
josoap, re "like this"
Although i don't entirely agree with Jon modifying warlord as it was a 1 off, if it wasn't for him finding it then i, along with many others wouldn't of even heard of warlords existence and the biggest phantom would still be the 28!!
so respects for his effort to find create a awesome boat,
And as were talking about a splash as an illegal copy, if you read through the warlord thread, there was only 1 made and you cant really call it splashing when the chap who owned phantom and built the p31 warlord is supporting the project can you?
Re: "your gona be busy you ginger ****

i suggest more creativity if your looking to insult Mr Fuller, hes 45 and has proberly been called a ginger tosser more times then you've had hot dinners
