Sounds Great John.

If you dont want to go the route of membership (and i can understand why you wouldnt), how about selling some nice T shirts and use the profits towards the maintenance of the site?

Just a thought. . . . .

I did look down the t shirt/baseball cap route a while back, and got some made, trouble is, to get 'Nice' stuff done, ie, quality shirts/hats, and quality embroidery, costs summat like a tenner each, plus delivery/vat, then postage to the member, they end up quite dear, and peeps think (as usual) someone's mekkin a fortune (just like we had with the poker runs) and that's before you get to make a profit

Yeah, I know what you mean.

I used to be an organiser of a Motorcycle Forum, then due to requests i started sourcing high quality machined parts from japan. (The Dogs danglies).

I was getting some amazing stuff that just wasnt available in Europe.

Once id brought all the stock in, the usual wasters started disapearing. You get all that bollocks about making a fortune etc. etc. when the truth is you are actually doing people a favour!

Theres an old story that comes true every time, "Friends and neighbours dont like to see someone do well".

If you are an "Anonomous" company you can get away with making fair Margins but as soon as your fronting the counter and people see where their money is going they inevitably move on.

Thats why Jews never used to work in their shops. They would have local people employed to front the business while they sat out the back counting their money.

Still, as this is a quality Forum, how about some prices for some quality stuff?

When you say "first one" it don't mean much, coz I've made about 10 now

what music was on it?

Boat runs a gnat's nagger over 70, so that was roughly the top speeds in the vid.

latest one has 'U2-Vertigo' sound track, I think it's my fave so far.

Well i aint DLing any more that took over an hour! it was the first one on this thread.............

i must admit, my favourite was the "scream if ya wanna go faster" soundtrack!! great!

Looks like you were going faster than 70

I might just be able to keep up with ya then with the right setup!

Jonny.................If the demand was high enough, say 40 pieces. I'll lean on a colleage for a favour..............he just happens to be a mahhooooooossiiivvvee Tshirt & promotional item maker.

Otherwise i can make you some poop iron-ons. In fact i've had an 8" leviathan for some time. Just not put it on a white 't' yet.

I think all boats look great as above....................no injins
