No rob these are my own collection now so there is now quite a bit of footage around now. i have 1998, 1992, reviews, 2002 gibralter and that is being uploaded now on to youtube. I have 2003 bournemouth, torquay and allhallows which is home footage. the bournemouth one is that stinking rough race where me and you has a nice tussle.
I also have the Basic race from Gib 2002 with everyone on there.
Hopefully sourceing some more from various people in the future.
I will try to split the 1998 review into respective races rather than loading up all in one as its nearly 2 hours long!

Great to see the old 2lt class OCR boats with so many racers and a real shame to think that there is nothing really like that now (barely any UK 3C left now right??).
Some interesting spills and thrills in those vids. When I think about all the criticisim the honda series got and the stepped cougar boats got..... Dont get me wrong, clearly all the contact in the Honda series was just shocking but at least there was plenty of boats and close racing.
Like I say, real shame the offshore scene for smaller boats just isnt what it was and huge repect for all the guys that used to race. You must have had some big balls to have it in an 18ft rig with 2lt in some of those conditions.
Thanks for sharing

i think it can come back with the 150 hp class to be fair IF its managed right. the proof is there to see minimal accidents over years abd the longer courses allowed the field to spread out more.
its there for the takings really.

Or what we still have with OCR "A" class !! With the short tight courses it is cheaper, more reliable and every bit as exciting fun as 2 ltr ever was all we need is a few more to try it as I guarantee you would not want to go back to wondering if the motor will last the end of a race !! And we did win the French 150 class against some 2.4's & XR2's !!
