Dry balance how to

As I was reading through this pretty old thread https://www.boatmad.com/forum/f3/rin...oat-17888.html Barrie Williams mentioned that

Could someone pls help me on how to do that exactly? My searches weren't particularly successful on that topic.

I'm stating a stringer resto on my Driver 560 (18ft) shortly and questions like tank size and placement etc are coming up naturally.
