Gav,
Whilst you’re on, another question if you don’t mind, ordered some coloured gel coat from Fletcher, it came in two chemical containers with no instructions ones full of gel the other catalyst. I tried mixing it up and the stuff never seemed to thicken added loads of catalyst and eventually melted the container I poured it into! I have since filled the hole with epoxy filler, as someone else told be that this gel cost is like paint not as filler as well (I had used the plastic padding stuff in the past which appears to fill as well as provide a gel coat layer). Do I use the gel cost they sent me like paint instead of filler? And if so how much catalyst do you recon I should put in?

mixing the gelcoat, if you mix ann egg cup full you will need to add about half a teaspoon of catalyst.
use the gel like a filler, making sure the area to be repaired is clean and degreased first......

Whoops added sh*t loads too much then! How long do you leave it before you apply it? and how long to go off?
Cheers!

I think one of the reasons it may have come off in the first place is because the seals tend toi stick to the hatch itself. A spot of silicone grease or a rubber lube works wonders - maybe even KY or Vaseline.....

We had a similar problem on the trains. The warranty guys found "sticks like S@#t" worked best. None have come off since!
