Incontrol Foot Throttle

is it possible to extend the cable?? one of mine is about 6" too short, i'm sure there is enough inner cable as the previous owner left it coiled up behind the throttle pedal but what about the outer sheath?? i've never seen one of these before so any help or suggestions would be great

Outer is a standard control cable with one end cut off and the new inner stuffed through. Watch out for those inners though cause they can rust once bent and clamped, then snap. We replaced ours with SS.

my inners look like s/s anyway so i guess there is nothing stopping me cutting a bit of outer off another control cable and adding it to this one?? You say standard cable too but my outers look thinner than that??

The outer is a thin (lightweight) 33c with the end off, that then screws into the foot throttle. The std inner cable from Incontrol used to be a teflon coated s/s wire.

I've probably got one you can have, amongst all my useful items, or as my wife would say, ole shit!
