Thats one who I thought about , had a place brands hatch way. Highly respected bloke in the bike world, but curious if any one had any first hand clues to their experences this side of the pond before I decide on a dog for the cat & rebuild.

Perfect bore in the U.K
They do racing engines, mostly 4 stroke, but they can do the job.
They can apply a coating to cast liners too,to reduce friction.
They do work for F1 teams etc

Stan Stevens name rings a bell. He might be the guy that bored out my Honda NS400R into an NS500R

Haven't heard that name since my RD Days.
Is he still going?

I remember. Wasn't stan that did my bike motor - was Terry someone.
Spoke to Stan when I was rebuilding my old xr2 motor.
