The Belgian Diamond Race is 29 June.
There is the Geelse Kanaalfeesten the following weekend 5-6 July if you feel the need to top up on Duty Free's.
Not sure if any Aussies or Yanks will be coming this year.

Do you mean the 2013 PB1?
The original poster asked a question and deserves a far more succint but precise answer than yourself or Bob has given despite knowing the answer.
And in response to what I'm racing, I'm far too old for all that, I'm just the banker.

Ah I see, so as a boat builder would you recommend the original poster should build a raceboat to compete based on PB1 2013?

Stop now will you! The Original poster asked about race dates. Then you came along asking about rules! And at this time I would hope anyone considering building a race boat for this season has a fair idea what they are building. Or should we request the 2015 and 2016 rules too?
Or better yet, build whatever you like and just go out and have some fun!

I have no dog in this fight, but I do agree the finalised rule should be published by now and with regards to building, these guidelines should be set in stone last year. For 2015 and 16? Yes have them now and maybe you got half a chance of some stability. Instead of looking like.headless chickens.

Look you're fully aware that there has been a last minute fundamental class change proposal and to portray to the readers of Boatmad that that bit is all sorted and by inference it is the RYA holding things up is verging on dishonesty.
I am neither one side of the fence or the other but people would like to know if 'worked' engines are to become a national class.
Is there a good reason to be clandestine about it all?
As Paul says stability is key to anyone thinking of putting a raceboat together.

Worked engines you say.
That should produce some interesting results on direct injection epa type motors. Mind you technology & tweaking does move along quickly... It's only been 17 years since omc gave us the first run of ficht v4/v6s making all the carbed stuff look like right old smokers!

I think you'll find I didnt infere anything at all. Not sure why you have singled me out, manipulating what Ive said as a way of airing your grievances. I really am the last person to try and debate politics or rules with. Because I really dont care all that much about it!
What I do care about is getting on the water in my boat in whatever way I can, and with as many other like minded people as we can get on the start line.
And seeing as you have already said you're not into racing, perhaps you would like to come along and help out at some of the races. Im sure some of the clubs would appreciate the help, or an extra official, as you seem to have a fair grasp of the rules.
Maybe we'll see you at some of the races in 2014.

Alan, apologies if you think it is a personal dig. Far from it. And grievances are not something I carry, never have, life is too short.
Those that know me know I do my bit quietly but I generally prefer to keep a low profile as it is my firm belief that competition is for those behind a wheel not organisers. And I'll leave the behind the wheel bit for someone much younger than I that has the same passion I had many years ago. It endears me that he looks to me for guidance.
But this is not about us as individuals. We collectively come from the same angle of wanting to see offshore revived I just totally disagree with how individuals attempt to make changes that affect the sport rather than through a consensus of opinion. And then portray it as ratified when it clearly is not.
The rules and classes are fundamental to calling anything a race, an individual has an expectation to know before a season, and should be more, that what he is about to embark upon is fairly competitive. It affects his decision making process.
I have just this week been through that mill and parted with a substantial amount of money to do just that for my son, very well researched and here we are yet again with someone trying to move the goalposts around.
This, I would suggest is not they way to get the sport back on it's feet so all I am asking is for is clarity and more so honesty albeit after the event of parting with hard earned cash.
So I'll ask the question in more succint terms.
Do we have a set of rules that lays out what the 'NRC' (OCR?) calendar is racing for, what the class structure is, are 'worked' engines allowed, how are points awarded and do they count toward a national championship?
