Fixed price contract. The invoice was already tiny, so no worries.

And the boat is almost done, so you can get prepared to mock him, but just not yet!

Wise words.

Now "Offshore" is back, "The Players" of the last six or seven years do not seem to want to play ball.

As an aside to this post.

When we did the London - Calais - London in 1982, we got a liferaft, a week before the race.

Managed to find a home for it.

Stored it in a Phantom 16' with a race deck!

The next year we had to do the same in a Crusader 19'!

Rules are rules, and we complied in those days----

Mine is an aircraft liferaft, so nice and compact. The boat ones are huge. Why on earth do they make them so large? Should open a business designing lightweight boat liferafts...

What you need is to breed bigger sea horses then you can hitch a ride home on one

Afraid not, the boat budget wont strech to it & I'm not 100% comfortable yet. There are 20 years of inactivity & rust to dislodge.
Other reasons mentioned in a previous thread but that is water under the bridge.
I hope it is a great success & everybody has a great event & racing.
I think the real spark has come from the efforts of the racers & safety crews it's great to see so many roll up the sleeves & jump in.

Who has been spreading nasty rumours, that are unfortunatly true, about me "kipping" in the afternoons?

It's having to work for you bleeding lot so bleeding hard that makes me so bleeding tired!!

Watch out by the way, Fabio just might have something BIG up his sleeve - just a rumour right now so don't take it for gospel!
