So, four of us then

This is not one of those turn up on the day events. Even though we are offering free entries etc. There is still a huge amount of commitment from OCRDA, Safety, Medical, course approvals etc. to organise.
I can give it till mid next week.

Bob

Bob, I kno the feeling, it would be good to get some kind of indication asap as if nd buts don't enable races to be run.

Come on teams when people go to the effort like this it doesn't take much to get out there and have fun and support your clubs

Especially when these sort of things are known about back in January.......

Hope it shapes up for you soon.
John

Hi Bob just a thought that might help potential racers to take the plunge,if the OCRDA races are running seperate to the Basic race would it be possible to make things like flares life jackets etc available to be loaned to Basic Racers as the cost of buying these for the casual racers is quite high and could possibly put a few people off,or if any regular racers had old spare jackets that perhaps they don't want to sell but could loan out for the event.Or had the RYA thought of doing some loan sets that could be passed to different organisers-invest in the future.Just my two pence worth,Nic

Good idea except it is only one race (all racing together) however I would rather you not worry about flares, I have a variety of spare jackets, helmets, etc I have a huge roll of orange flag material if any one needs it a bucket will do for a bilge pump and not much point in anchors as it is very deep and one hell of a current.
Anyone wishing to attend that is short of gear just let me know at time of entry, dont just turn up on Sat morning needing a navigator, Helmet, jacket and boat. (give us a bit of time to help) and anyone attending with spare gear please bring it along.

Always happy to help in any way we can IF you guys want to race we can make it happen !!

Bob
