As chairman of ORDA I would like to thank my committee for all their efforts in putting on a really well organised event. We could not have achieved this without the army of volunteers, officials, safety boats, timekeepers, marshalls, launch drivers, doctors, divers, my wife Pat for 'attempting ' to comentate and of course the teams that entertained the thousands of spectators. It was great to see all hands on deck with all the clubs helping out. I do see this type of event as the way forward combining OCR, V24, OFFSHORE, SKI RACING and next season being joined by KIDS CLASS. It also would not have been possible without the assistance of all the TORBAY officials, so a big thank you to them all. We are already organising next years calender with the grand 'finalle' being the Class III World Championships in Guernsey. So a big thank you from all the ORDA committee for being there. Hope to see you next year or at the AGM in January.
