Sorry - I'm being silly. Is the whole interior in original condition? Pretty amazing if it is. How long have you had her?
|
Yes the whole boat is original with 175 hours on the meter.
She was originally bought new by the owner of a Holiday Company and was kept in a boat house on Lake Windermere. She was subsequently owned by another person and also kept on Windermere until last June when i bought her and put her in the salty stuff.

The funny thing is that when i went to see her the first time, a certain "Soap Star" was going through the process of buying her but then had to pull out because they were refused Finance.
With a disheartened Vendor i was able to slip in with a cash offer to save the day and bag myself a bargain in the process.

She does look like she's in amazingly good condition.
So c'mon then, who was the 'soap star'?

Well the thing is, i dont know his name cos im not a soap fan but he is on Coronation Street. I might be wrong but i think he plays the son of the irish geezer. Assuming the irish geezer is still in it of course.
Two months after i bought it i saw a program about pleasure boating on the TV and he was in it explaining how he likes water skiing and messing about on the lakes. I wasnt impressed with the boat he was in though.

Might make the effort to come up from sunny Devon for the night - can anyone recomend a place without a british rail early morning alarm call? I got lucky last time I was there and got a room on the front - unlikely to happen twice!
