Interesting points. I wonder how many people have directly made money off the back of boatmad, and whether if they were given an opportunity to formalise an arrangement with paid advertising space, they'd be as keen.

Dont go there had a guy through my web site wanted to buy put him in touch with another one through the site. Result fekker sells him Boeing 737 BBJ .
Egg is a really difficult thing to clean off. But I stand by my thoughts that if its on the net then it's up for grabs as a freebe.

Guilty as charged! i have sold a fair bit through boatmad, but at the same token have tried to keep my prices keen to other boatmad members. I for one would certainly pay for advertising space given the opportunity.

My whole point is some people actively participate in this site a great deal and others have been using it to purely generate sales and thats it!
If your a contributing member of this site and then you generate a sale for your products or services then fair enough. But when you only appear when someone has their wallet out then it aint on!
Its not fair on the guys who run the site on a daily basis its not fair on other guys who are traders that put a lot more into boatmad than just sales generation.
I will leave it at that as I dont want to start sounding like an old woman (which is more than likely too late!

I'd be up for it, although i would prefer a flat rate for 1 years advertising banner etc, rather than paying a percentage of turnover!

I think you'll find the cowls have nothing to do with hutchy, 1 belongs to me and the other 2 belong to mike with the p25, ive been waiting 4 months and mikes been waiting since before christmas for our graphics, latches and inner trays.

like i said i'll post em up, but hutchy said bollocks we have sorted the rest from tank!
i did explain to hutchy the latches were on back order from c-quip, they took weeks to come in (not quite as long as a set of yam 200 gaskets!),but i now have them, along with all your graphics, which i will send you. I dont have any inners as i am in the process of making a plug/mould for one. when the moulds done (will be finished this week)you can have one.
I do apologise for the amount of time it has taken to sort out, but hey im mr dissorganised at the best of times!
Sorry Roofer
