She is a light weight hull and would also suit class3 b 1.3 ltr

Yeap she was designed as exactly the same as a 2 ltr but to measure for a 1.3 she was built with a 45 degree block placed at the bottom of the transom in the mould so that the measurement is at the max for 1.3ltr and above the minimum for 2ltr. so she measures for both. it does mean she gets about 5" more clean water before the prop ! there is also a small straight lip at where the hull finishes at the transom which stops some of the drag once you are are on the plane.

Interesting.

I have been offline for a little, and missed this:

I was told - in no uncertain terms, by several of the 3C racers at Torquay to avoid "at all costs" the boat that was built as a 3B boat, as it would be completely useless in 3C.

Now I discover that the hull I so almost bought was in fact the POS that I was warned about by so many people.

I would suggest thet you make it clear to anyone attemptiong to buy the hull that it is the 3B hull you are selling and not the 3C hull you have attempted to pass it off as.

We all got pissed off withthe Phantom 28 being sold as an "SE" without defining that the SE stood for Splash Edition. We should similarly be pissed off with a lightweight 3B hull being sold as a proper 3C hull.

If we had completed the purchase/sale six weeks ago, you would now definately have the hull back due to fraudulent misrepresentation!

Now Now just because i refuse to sell it to you !! i am not really interested in how you feel you want to rubbish me !

Don't worry there were many racers who didn't want it sold to you anyway. I always described it as it is, a light weight hull for 3C. It still measures for 2 litre even though built for the 2000 1.3 litre worlds that was how it was designed.

From reading previous threads it seems I am not the only person wishing that you crawl back into you hole ! from wence you came.

Merry Xmas.

So you two are drinking buddies in the real world then.

This is better than the soaps on the TV.
