I've got video of that hitting a turnbouy in Guernsey, and going over. (in the hands of the bespecticled Nigel Cutler((Nick Gilley's best mate....not)) back in the early 1990's

yeah, port side rear I think. It was a steel, fixed navigation bouy, not an inflatable laid mark.
