I had a very uneasy nights sleep on thursday.........but ultimately, NO.......it was a smidgin beyond my means. Even when they were stretched to the full!

a freshwater promax 225 '99.....supplied new by dealer/ seviced and taken as trade in to same dealer.

No mods except for got exhaust tuner from stnd 200 (mod was done before engine ever fitted to boat).

also, from same ebayer as the last promax: not sure about it....but he's sent me some info and it looks a BIG lump! may exceed the budget & i'm getting less interested inevbay as a suitable means with which to get an engine!

No idea. when i spoke to the fella @ the dealership.................who sell loads of promaxs 225/300 + 260 & 280's all for bass boats, he informed me the most common mods wher exhaust tuners and l/w pickups on standar box's.

Nice looking engine captain but sounds dodgy as fuxk! Did you try ARG Marine? Dont forget your Vat and duty on that price it hurts alot when customs stick there nose in! Dont forget to get an invoice off him to give customs to!
