Ringcat 22
Ring Cat 22 for sale due to change of plans!
Mercury Optimax 200, 390 hours, 2001, XL shaft.
Several props, including laser 11, cleaver and chopper.
Brought earlier in the year, it was the old Saber boat.
It's had loads of work on the bottom but is now very, very strong.
Not that fast, they just aren't, at about 52 MPH, but terrific looker and an excellent sea boat.
Re-rigged as follows:
New Aluminium tank, wema sender, aero filler cap.
New inner transom plate.
New side mount Mercury control.
New Smartcraft and Faria gauges and looms
New Garmin 450 GPS with full UK mapping, interfaced to VHF.
Cobra DSC VHF and antenna
Alpine CD radio in waterproof housing, Alpine speakers.
New carbon look dashboards.
Cup holders, (yes I know: beer can holders!).
New red carbon look vinyl wrap.
New hatch catches and transom bungs.
Re-wired, new switch panel and stern light, blue LED footwell lights
New bilge pumps and auto/ manual switch panel
Re-painted engine and stand off bracket.
Trailer: new winch, carpeted bunks, wheels hubs painted.
Upholstery really very nice in red and white piping.
Seat bases all repaired, transom locker and bow cuddy painted out.
New lightweight Optimax cowl (with some damage on one corner), plus old heavy GRP cowl with new sticker kit.
Optimax factory printed workshop manual.
Lots of other assorted spares and bits and pieces including good cockpit cover.
Probably forgotten loads of other stuff!
It owes me loads and I am looking for close to £11K.
Welcome to come and have a look in Christchurch, Dorset.
This was the last one made, I think there were only ever about six?
May taker a cheaper nice part ex, what have you got? Simon.

Ring Cat 22
A bit like buses you want one and then several come around:
Just seen this one on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ring-21-Ra...item3a9219f47d
Rather optimistically he is quoting 85MPH and £20,000 !
OK it may be a bit nicer than mine but it won't do 85MPH with a 250, more like 60 ?

Ringcat 22
Had a couple of time-wasters have a look at her.
Still for sale.
Would consider a nice Phantom 20/21 or Ring 21 in part ex, or even dare I say it a rib?
The cat is just a bit too extreme for my 17 year old daughter to drive on her own.
Done a few more jobs tidying her up over the last few weeks.

Bit more on this cat here,
http://www.boatmad.com/forum/showthr...hlight=ringcat
Well built but very heavy hence you need lots of power to make them go

Ringcat
On Ebay at the moment:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1713817795...84.m1555.l2649
I guess that I would take £9,500 for a quick cash sale?
Got to be pretty good value at that?
Or still keen on a Phantom 21 ...
