Motors out and apart and not in bad condition, pistons and rings are shot but the rest is fine slight bore wear at the top of the bore,s but that,s it .
Other parts not so good the intercooler had...

Done a lot of work with these cosworth engines in the past and know they can make good power.I thought the v8/bravo setup is a bit to heavy for this size boat and didnt fancy...

done some mods over the winter moved the engine gauges into rear of cockpit and gps into the front ,was having a bit of trouble keeping a close eye on the gauges and the water at the same time....

Yep its a converted 4x4 cossie intercooler there a lot better cooling capacity than the 2wd version but not to bulky to fit in the boat.

they go by weight in then weight out for cost
make sure you drill all sections of box top and bottom both ends so it fill,s and drains...

The turbo is a modified garrett t3 has larger 360 thrust bearing, inkonel turbine wheel/shaft and wastegate to take the heat and the water cooling is now raw water through 1/2 steam hose.
