When i raced my old BAT19 with yam, i had the battery stropped on a Carbon bracket on right side back in the boat/transom.
I recommand that i put battery like the PC680. Do not go for a smaler one....

Remember carbonfiber leads power. It will always be a problem...
Just a smal tip... Take off + when u dont use youre boat for a few days.
And buy a spare...
