I know what you mean. It must of been the over-pitching though as I remember Taz snapping a propshaft with those 32's. When you do any calculations on either 1:87 or 2:1 it doesn't work out, engines would only be pulling mid 6000rpm. Those 2.5's Smilin' Jacks produce their full power around the upper 7000rpm mark. Thanks Rich

Moulds
The Phantom 25 & Phantom 28 moulds seem to be gone forever from what I've heard anyway. Rich

There are a set of 25 moulds in Norway which claim to be official copies but I'm not convinced!

They're the ones - I think he has an original deck mould as well.

Here are some photos of the boat from the Norwegian moulds - they were available but I haven't heard for a while.

Haven't posted in a while...
Just made a new custom- overall cover for the P28. Starting to collect a few bits for the build now. I.E Isolator switches, Start buttons, anodized Micro-mesh filters and fuel pump brackets. Will update as soon as I get the boat under cover, ready to do some work!

P28 transom
How is the wood state Inside the transom after 20 years of hard uses?? At the moment the best warranty for marine plywood is about 25years, so do you think, you have to rebuilt the transom for this project or do you want to use it like it is???
