These seven are travelling up on Friday into St Cats and have a restaurant booked for 34 of us so expect to be a mess in the morning.

Taz is running up on the saturday morning as is onabudget I think.

I'm assuming pash1 will have a new end in his gearbox in time looking at his thread and I believe he is launching saturday morning at Chatham so he can go the wrong way! His missus has declared a wish to come aboard my boat as she doesn't trust him etc etc.

I need confirmation from:

Waynekerr 2 x P18's
MikeK Non runner
Puppiesballs
Dan
MrRob
Blinddog
Skull666
Andymac
The Mutz Nutz
Carl
OCRDA
Andyxs
Dodgy Dave
Dangerous
Captain Chaos

Roofer

I have pm'd you all separately.

Mat, Gazza, Daren, Mike R, Bad Boy, Hunton69, Atlantis, Jojoroar Have all confirmed here or otherwise that they cannot make it due to daft reasons like 'no engine on boat', 'Builder let me down', 'It wouldn't make it' etc etc.

Bad preparation I say

I've been keeping an eye on the long range weather forecast and it looks like the snow will miss us by a day Chatham is a bloody good place to warm up though.

We have a slight problem with the band as the bass player can't make it so it will be acoustic sets with the mic handed to anyone that can sing

If you look in the flyer you all need to let me know how many for grub and if anyone needs anything else taken along.

If we get this one off the ground I'll organise another late in the year incorporating Ramsgate and far flung places like Calais, so make sure you support it.
I've added to the above.
Maybe this is not the way to reply, but Game on!

RENEWAL OF SCOUR PROTECTION
DIVING OPERATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that on or about Monday 10th March 2008, work will
commence on the renewal of the scour protection at the entrance to Chatham Maritime
Lock, Chatham Reach, River Medway in the following approximate position:-
51º 24.289’ N 00º 31.913’ E

the pontoon for delivery to site and placement by the excavator.
3. During the times of diving operations the “Abwood VIII” will display an
International Code Flag “A”. In addition, in accordance with Medway Ports’ Byelaw No.
11.(1), a red flag will be exhibited on the “Abwood VIII” as close as possible to the point of
entry into the water. A safety boat will be in attendance. Persons in charge of vessels
navigating in the vicinity of the works should pass by at reduced speed and exercise due
care and caution.
4. Admiralty Chart No. 1835 refers.

well anybody would think the english weather was putting people off

My seven boats still going for it (being tough sarfenders).
Athito is still coming down from Titchmarsh albeit crewless.
Haven't heard from Taz for a few weeks now.
Pash1 has still got his gearbox in pieces and is blagging a ride with me.
So no southerners and the western / northern lads I'm not sure.

Looks like the revenger will win with ease

You know I'd love to be there to give you and your revenger a run for your money regardless of the weather, just look at what I have to put up with day in day out...

Can't blame anyone really. Weather hasn't turned to our favour and lots of boats not ready for the season yet.

If you remember we were taking a chance on easter being good like last year and avoiding the start of race season to give everyone a chance of joining in.

So don't worry it hasn't put me off, already thinking about organising a run from crouch to calais or similar so the guys with phantoms, rings, bernicos etc get the chance to run out beyond where they normally would with the benefit of safety in numbers.

wonder whether your jalopy will be ready for that?

Your right he should but I think he had his fingers burnt in the 90's and time's not that good a healer.

Anyway I've been trying to work out how the f*ck the revenger's gonna come off the trailer tomorrow. I think a fast run up at the sea should do it but can't afford to lose another range rover in the water

Looks like we're down to four boats now as everyone's getting scared of the forecast.

Great respect to Athito he's running down from titchmarsh marina to meet us at the crouch before we head round to southend. On his own, no crew and a sheer determination to be there
