I gess I will just have to go and watch Live and let Die or Goldfinger or any of the others, but not the last two.

thought Casino Royal was great, much better than the last brosnan film which was a total cliche' not new and lacked depth/believability and the bond music just makes the whole thing cheesy. By your verdicts so far I think i'm gonna love the new one, can't wait.
Almost got to see it in london yesterday but didn't have time. No good cinemas in guernsey so dvd for me.

I'm off to see it in the guernsey cinema (read - out dated projector) this evening!
I hope its good, as you say the last Brosnan one sucked, I think it was trying compete with xXx... Casino Royal was awsome!
I think there doing pretty damn good to have made so many awsome films and still be going!

personally I thought casino Royal was really good and although a very different style of Bond movie to previous Bonds I am hoping the new one is in a similar vein to the last, some 3-4 years back I spent some weeks parting with a pair of American special forces guys and one was a dead ringer for Bourne it was party Gym training party although I don't think Bourne ever parties he's to busy killing people for that

I think it's the different style thats put people off and Daniel Craig. Although I've tried not to spoil the film by watching the trailers I've heard a lot of criticism that he's too short and looks too craggy.
In my view to be believable he has to look cold calculating and as though he ventures outside for longer than to retrieve the paper.
First time i watched casino royal i wasn't convinced. Too used to over the top can't ever get shot bond antics and it stepped too far out of the bond comfort zone. After a few months i watched it again, it's a really good film.
They should have cut the sinking house scene though. The less of the unbelievable the better.
