The Cougar Cat 900 is reputed to withstand 65 knots in suitable conditions, due to the Kevlar sandwich hull, 40mm thick.
It can also withstand small arms fire, hence many were exported for military and police use, to problematic drug smuggling countries.
Made down in the south of England, Hampshire I think, and rumoured with some input from Halmatic in Portsmouth.
Anyhow on a clear day you might be able to see one that's berthed in the Isle of Man, which was used to frequently visit various Irish coast harbours.
