Boy,
Im glad you was bored Johnson, some good stuff.
Was Hamiltons Bertram Red before Yellow or the other way round?
Anyway while you were bored, ive been muckin about takin Sexy Beast outa the water today. Sure coulda used a hand mate!
Had her lifted out and scrubbed before lowering onto a trailer i bought a few weeks back. Then while the guys went for lunch i had to make some adjustments to the trailer bunks and winch post in order to make her snug for winter. Thats when the fun began, the hull is about a foot off the back of the trailer with no room to move her up the front due to the rake of the winchpost which i had already moved back a foot. When trying to winch her on further the strop did an impersonation of the piano wire on the film "Mad Max".
When the full weight of the boat was released onto the trailer the arse end of me Pajero almost left the ground.
It was at this point that i asked myself why i bought the trailer in the first place, as the cost of it would have paid for as many lift out and scrubbs as id of wanted for the next couple of years.
So instead of bringing her home for winter storage and some maintenance, i think she will have to stay at the mariner.
Anyone want to buy a nearly new trailer?
PS. Noticed a distinct lack of Boatmad members boats at Drivers Wharf today as well.

It was yellow when he bought it from Colin Gervais Brazier in Guernsey.
It was previously known as 'Visions of Guernsey'
It had been the boat pictured in the 'Guernsey Offshore' logo for a few years, and used to get parked in the prime spot in the pits during each guernsey week.
Tony re-named it 'Dog Gone' and fitted a pair of 600hp V12 Lamborgini pleasure motors (it originally had big blocks), that came out of Richard Carr's Cougar 41 'Breathless' (Breathless became 'Lethal Magic' and got triple 930hp C&G blower motors, at the hands of Mark Pascoe) but it remained yellow for a year or so, then got re-painted red.

Mate, my spelling is getting worse. I cant even blame that on a typo
As soon as i get BB, i'll invest in a new keyboard...these cheapo wireless things i bought for home/ work get out of range ever so quickly.
Vid Night: I'm well up for it whenever...........I've not been very pro-active in getting it sorted, as its likely to be your neck of the woods (correct?) Do we want to set a date 1st???? before after xmas??
Its only 50% that Lea will come, i think she's more than happy to let me go and play with the boating folk as long as it doesnt come between her and eastenders!.....I've told she's antisocial and its having some effect so may have a change of heart!
Hows about picking a couple of dates and doing a poll?
Capt Dementia
BTW......you know i'm very thankfull for the trailer help!
