I know the boat, but we haven´t been able yet to encourage it out of its hiding place. Maybe this year, though!.
I run my boat on the Rhine river mostly. Great landscape ( if you go slow enough to see it!) and (just like the autobahns) no speed limit.... and the most incredible waves and curves you have ever seen. A real powerboaters dream.
The waves are created by the numerous passenger and freight ships that sometimes appear in packs of four or five. Sort of like moving chicanes. Do you go left or right...... and the the waves, sometimes up to a mile after the ships. I´m talking AIR, big time!
The poker run at the start of june runs through the famous Loreley valley. You won´t find a finer location anywhere in the world....the river is very challenging to drive... and then put 50 - 60 powerboats running with open exhausts in the picture, and the spectacle is complete.

Usikaupunki or something like that. I´ve never been there, to visit Valmet, but their quality is very highly regarded at Porsche. My experience of Fi. is confined to several trips to Rovaniemi, as an instructor for the Porsche driving school (snow and ice training, january Camp4) and visiting my (then) girlfriend in Helsinki. Really enjoyed it..er Finland, as well!

Yes Uusikaupunki,Neustadt aus Deutsch.
Used to load Porsches to the ships until last year.
So you have a need for driving instructors for Porsche?
I have two topskilled professional Racing drivers as a friend, plus myself ( A Truck operator/racer myself)
* The other one used to run Audis Winter driving school and for the other one I was his Race mechanic.
Also have an older Gentleman in store that took the European Truck Championship twice for Sisu.

PM me as this gets offtopic.

Augie, if all else fails, mail them to me at matt.yorke@gmail.com
Can also host all sorts of vids on the boatmad media site, so if you've got any footage you'd like to show off, we can help. Close flypasts are speciality!

You have to have them on a site first then you copy the www.whatever.delicatesoundair1.jpg meaning the pics adress...you can find it in the properties of the pic..
As the young ones in the famiglia...the teach you prolly sooner than we both manage together.

Yes I´ve been several times to your sites... as I´m a Scarab fan myself..hopefully soon I´ll find my Scarab38 KV Miami Vice edition.
For racing I´ll look into something local.

Heres some pics from Scandinavia for ya

My utmost fullfillment in life was once trying to get enlisted to the Finnish Air Force so airplanes are one of my passions too, then the doctors found out I need glasses, nowadays I Drive Big rigs the (60 ton behemoths uphere)
And wish for a bigger powerboat..with Duramaxes and Arnesons..oh well someday.
Or should I just go and get the Squadron from south england?
This Spring I´ll surely go and take a look at something, been too long without a V Bottom.

Oh well might just be good that I didn´t get a chance behind a Hornet...would´ve prolly relusted in an international conflict with a Mig.

Hey Mick, yeah know the boat well. Our buddy Mike owned it last, it was at Smitty's Marina (Owner of WAZZUP RACING) before going to Sweden. That photo is from Point Plesant, NJ., home of many big races. I would love to come over with Scottb and race the P1 class.
