Thanks, Jon. Yes, you are absolutely right. It is really one of the very last boats from Steve himself. I will send you the hull number by pm. If you meet Steve the next time, you can tell him that one of his last P23 is now in Germany... If everything is finished, I will show you more photos of my P23.
The boat is absolutely gorgeous. After having done the test trial, I couldn't stop smiling for three days. It's really a fantastic boat. Even in rough conditions, you can handle it at 70mph without any problems. Smooth and fast ride... Great!

I have been in your boat last summer then, fantastic boat.
Made me want to sell my P21 to buy a P23
Didn't do that though.

Good luck with it!

Yeah you can't beat REAL Phantoms !!! ( made at Phantom) I just hate those fake ones being built the 19's built by kitten are tops and built very well. Could you tell me how I could spot a fake phantom 21 from a real phantom 21. I suppose you have a look at the hull and see if it's falling apart. Where should I look !!!!!

Paddy - it sounds like you are very happy with that boat and I'm not surprised. Excellent hull -- and it should be just about perfect for where you are boating. I like the color, too--no doubt everyone will see you coming and get out of the way!

Nice boat!

I wonder if you are satisfied with the vindicator or not?
What about the fuel economy?

Here is a short video of our season start. Some friends of mine and me had some fun on the river...

The quality is not the best (original is much better), but I think everyone can see that we had a very good time...

The first two tests of the Evinrude Vindicator were ok. Top speed without lift was 70mph+ on the river Rhine.
Fuel economy??? That's an outboard from 1995 (boat is from 2001), so please don't ask me about that. I haven't checked the exact consumption, but I think the average fuel consumption should be around 40-50 liters/hour.

By the way, I know somebody in Germany who is looking for a Phantom 21, but I don't think he wants to spend so much money. He is looking for a cheap version. But I will send him your link, so he can take a look at the boat and decide what to do.

Looking through all the Photos here on this 23,
Do all 23's require loads of trim to make them go as every photo looks this way??

I only trimmed out so much to get some nice pics. Of course, you don't need to do this to make the boat go fast.
But on those pics, the engine was mounted a little bit too high, that's why it wasn't difficult to get so much water in the air... Now I have a lift.

By the way, the boat is no longer for sale. I will keep it. It was just an idea to buy a bigger powerboat with a V8 and a small cabin, but the Phantom is so much fun that I will keep it for myself.
