In The Water

Hey Guys

Been lucky enough to have my Extreme in a Marina berth this summer , which has meant loads more boating than usual as i havent had to rely on trailing her and the state of the tide

Been taking her out of the water every 2 or 3 weeks for a good hot wash and wax which is fine but a bit of hassle (not as much hassle as a launch and recover every time )

My question is - how long can you leave a boat in the water in one go before you would need to anti foul the bottom ??

Cheers

i`ve left mine in the water for the first time this year since the beginning of may had far more use out of it really great season used it alot in the evenings aswell
i also started off trying to clean the bottom every couple of weeks but found that it just seemed to get worse each time also different times of the year it is alot stronger breeding season so happened quicker

i ended up antifouling ok i doesn`t look great but i get to use the boat whenever i want which i think is better than it looking great in the garage

i did find a really good product for getting rid of the green stuff though its called wipe out its a type of acid in powder form mix it with a bit of water to make a paste cover the hull then leave it for 20 mins then hose it off comes up like new
