Andy you should know better than that by now.
Is it a NIB, SmCo, AlNiCo 4, Ceramic or Ferrite magnet and what shape and dimensions is it?
Only when we know these facts will the forum be able to suggest potential uses for it.
Oh and if you bought it solely for the purposes of sticking to a stainles steel propellor then you may have been misled and might want to speak to pash about how and who to recoup your investment from

blag him that it's a specially designed fuel cooling device specifically made to go in fuel tanks that are in danger of overheating.
Show him how special it is by demonstrating that it won't stick to Aluminium, bronze or stainless steel but will of course stick to his car.
Not only will he make you an offer for this one but I'd bet he asks you to source another three for the other tanks.
Now the wood magnet I may well be interested in that myself. Does it work on teak?

hmmm. Not quite what I was looking for.
Do you think the hole could be modified by a fairly handy person to take a screw instead then it would be perfect. My brother's got some neat stuff like drills and circular saws but I'm not sure he'll lend them after the last incident
