Looks like there wasn't enough grease on your thrust washer and/or prop shaft splines.

That little fkkr is stuck/rusted nicely on the wee taper at the root of the prop shaft. Best way to get it off is to get ya copper mallet, or a hammer and a soft-ish drift, and clought it on the edge of the washer, toward the gearbox, as in the attched pic.
Not both sides at the same time tho'!, do it alternatly and it will let go. (don't be scared to give it a good wack)
If you do the obvious thing, which is to try and lever it off, you'll chip/dent the gearbox casing summat horrid.

i thought it did, ill give it a hammering then... in the process of repainting lower leg anyway so only primer to damage!!

add a little heat to it if it's still not moving but keep it from the shaft heat only the washer ( thats heat not- get it glowing cherry red)

When using heat remember there are seals and metal coducts heat real good, gentle heat NOT direct onto the shaft
