Who wants a room at the Class 1 'shrine'? I think it'll work out about 20 squids a head if sharing. First come first serve.

I'll see if we can get a volunteer to act as water taxi for anyone needing to get back to Plymouth ...but Chris reckons plenty of other accommodation around.

Remember there is no great plan...just a get together and see what we want to do as conditions permit.

I had a night out there recently and great fun. For those thinking about children, a much better venue than Plymouth on a saturday night!!!

Timing Saturday + Tides

Hi Everyone,

would be good to get as many boats in the water by 10.30 as we'll try to get the local press there for a beauty parade..

Tide times are perfect:

Sat 15th 04:50 2.01m L - 11:09 4.34m H - 17:24 2.25m L - 23:51 4.42m H
Sun 16th 06:20 2.26m L - 12:56 4.20m H - 19:12 2.35m L

For those getting out low is not so good on Saturday.

Muster near QAB 10.30 - (They're ringing back tomorrow with cost for launching and holding trailers for those wishing to pay)

Local sports editor in boat or two

Decide lunch destination and spin around and head in general direction

After lunch play

Evening raft up in Cawsand Bay for those staying overnight. Kingsand/Cawsand pubs and Chris P's hotel

Some staying over and others heading back? If accommodation needed - should be able to find something. Kids are coming with some!

Sunday
--------

Morning: gather at place and plan agreed night before (now that should be interesting!!)

Several people coming for the crack without boats too - fantastic news.

Weather not looking good at moment but plan ok if no S. Easterly

Thanks for your support as this is bigger than anticipated. Let's chat at the weekend about what more we could do eh?

Fingers crossed on weather. Likely to rain but much les windy. Heck who worries about a bit of rain eh?

Hoping to come done tomorrow at some stage. Couldnt find anyone to give me a hand with it today hence no show. Took a wonder round QAB and saw a couple of the hondas, and a nice looking bernico tied up (A77) before it threw it down!
Water did look flat tho and the sound looked as quiet as I've seen it.

Thanks Everyone

Hi everyone, thanks for taking part and it was great to meet a great bunch of people! Despite the initial drenching on Saturday morning we had a good sea and some great fun. I look forward to another get together and seeing you all again for testing etc as it's great to run with others.

Hopefully the start of something as discussed. Apologies to QHM as nobody seems clear of the speed rules in Plymouth Sound and for everyone's benefit it's 10 knots inside a line from the end of Mountbatten to Fort Picklecombe..400 meters off the land so useful bit of input from Mr Plod! Slower toward Sutton and QAB of course.

See you again soon I hope.

PS for those that couldn't or were (quite rightly) put off by the weather, we hope to catch up with you at a future occasion soon.
