Looks very nice - how's the testing going for next weekend? Wish we could have made it but it just wasn't possible.

Update on R34
We have had to complete other work that had become rather urgent to finish in the last few weeks and so the 34 had to be on hold.
However , back to the new baby with engine beds in and part installed engines, prototype seats made and checked for size / position. The interior is now a fully laminated structure and requires detail work only to continued in the spring. The engine hatch tooling incorporating air scoops is now complete.
Next on the list of priorities is to complete the rigging of the engines and instrumentation and run the boat hopefully during November. We have a few interested parties to show the boat to. R34 will be on the water for about a month this winter and then its back to factory for detail work on interior and cockpit layout and upholstery.
I will post more pics as we progress.
Mike

Good to see that all the time you put into the plug and mould wasn't completely wasted!

Back to the R34 , spring will be upon us before we know it !
Update on progress.
Final interior construction cabin wise is now complete and ready for forward tank to fit along withthe ballast setup. The engine hatch plug and mould is now made and the hatch moulding now extracted. The hatch fits and compliments the deck styling perfectly. I have also made a plain hatch panel for those that want a sunbed aft with separate breathing arangements for engines other than scoops on the panel.
Through transom exhaust sytem is to be fitted in the next day or so , beds etc are all complete and ready. A few ancilliary items are to be fitted in the engine bay and then the motors will be dropped in .
I am busy with a completely new design of Highback Seat which will be styled to compliment the 34 and also be useful in our new 755 / 880/ 1080 stepped race ribs. These seats have been designed from the outset as Powerboat Racing seats and are of the correct depth to hold the pilots in properly unlike the rally / offroad seats and derivatives that are used quite often in boats but are not really suitable. Ribbers WILL NOT get spat out of these when they broach at speed !
I will post some pics when the moulds are made.
Mike

Ginger and I have been busy with exhausts , bilge pumps and a host of other paraphanalia that goes into a fitout.
There is a lot of headscratching and thought in getting it right !
