The rumours fly this morning
Merry Christmas Boat mad fans
Little bird tells me this morning that all is not well with some leading RYA officials and that one of them required hospital treatment for her injuries.so badly shaken she did not see another boatmad fan sitting in the hospital and could not even speak straight going on about losing everything. If this is true my heart goes out to her this christmas and i am sure that all boatmad fans wish her well. Credit to the lady for not shouting her gob off from the highest rooftops.

It is a typical post innit.
Hide behind a new registered name so no one knows who you are then innuendo something to death.
And I am told my straight to the point posts are wrong, well feck me I would rather know what the hell is actually being posted!

Why not say I saw, or my brother saw. Search for the term 'little bird told me' or 'little bird tells me' brings up interesting previous posts.

aaaaah - so one if female? Hmmmmn leading RYA official who is female? Cant seem to find a 'leading' female RYA official, so downgrading to RYA official and I can find two.

An RYA official who is a member of boat mad and who is female? Well that strikes off Annie Ballbreaker then, she is not to my knowledge a boatmad member, although she is no doubt a voyeur of the site

We may, but we do not know WTF you are talking about, and may not want to wish someone well innit?

Tricky name is not new registered for over a year.
I have been asked by the lady concerned not to say anything else as she is really upset that her personal washing has been hung out.
Was trying to make her feel better by letting her see that she had the support of some of us.
Enough said

FWIW, I know 'speed Freak', and she has indeed been a member here for some time. I'm sure the story will eventually 'out'. (I too can only guess at this stage).
I hope whoever's concerned is OK.
If someone needs shaming, they should be shamed.

And you thought posting details on a public forum would help!

I hate to agree with you......but
So 'Speed Freek' is a girl?
I hope it is not someone I like.
You may have been registered for over a year, but this is your first post. Not a good way to introduce yourself to the boatmad world. Better when you were a lurker me thinks.

Hey dear fellow female... only a few more days left to 2007! so when NYE comes drink, get drunk and shake the past away... no man's worth it if thats the problem!! strength and goals are the key to success look forward not back - be positive and if you are on your own, you are always welcome to our house for NYE... always an open home to all.
P.S thanks John for your concern.. not me though - I'm not famous nor an RYA main official. The post would of had to say..... controversial female organiser, disliked by many because they have pathetic little goldfish bowls they live in thinking they're big fish... a women that has more knives in her back and front than any other, likes to do things different and not to the main stream ... and couldn't give a F*** what they thought... then that would mean me! lol
PPS and so pleased the Round Britain thread is still positive and happy
Anyway hope everyone had a good Xmas... the Pascoe's all met for a gathering and enjoyed by all.. Wishing you a fantastic NYE and 2008! x

If indeed a 'rogue' does exist, would it not be better if he/she 'came clean', rather than get exposed?

Shit happens - especially at christmass time.
It is possible that the people involved are nicely back and mending bridges. External pressures from this sort of thing is not always conducive to reconcilliation...
And for the record, no - Ana did not put me in hospital - she was in Spain!
