What a week! Big night of celebrations here! We are ecstatic! Such a great experience and a result beyond our wildest dreams!

Thanks to everyone especially to the organisers and the other racers!

Cracking racing all the way and a great camaraderie here from boat to boat.

Cheers for all your support on boatmad especially from the guernsey boys!!!!

The boat was amazing! Adam she did us proud- so unbelievable to create a world championship winning boat - the first one out the mould- a testament to your ability as a designer.

Tom- your navigation won us the second heat and the title. I'm so proud of you mate

Debbie you were great, and Rach thank you for coming to share this with me!

And Mark- we wouldn't have even got here without your help, knowledge and support. You made it happen!

Cheers guys

John

Watched all of the races and a well deserved win - hats off to the cat that had a really tough time of it in all three races and still came out second, not forgetting Bob Mcarthy who for the sake of a fuel bulb could have had a much different result!

A well run championships with well deserved winners and a big shout out to sponsors E-Lites and all of the officials and safety boats - Thank you!

Should also mention well done to Dan Priestley who collected his 2011 OCR British Championship trophy clutching the X-Rays of his broken arm from stuffing his Phantom 19 trying to catch Jeremy Gibson in "Challenging" conditions!

What a fantastic achievement for the Guernsey Team to pick up the world championship against keen international opposition .
A British designed craft too so a double celebration there too.

Jon you have a fantastic ability with that hard charging style, a great co driver with Tom there too and a lovely rig.
Great to see you take on the challenge and succeed-takes big Kahoonas to do that !
I look forward to having a few beers with you on your return lads-Well done Team !

Let's be honest we all knew John wasn't going to lift off for anything!

Fantastic achievement, let's hope you get the recognition you deserve locally and it's not all Guernsey FC crap in the papers again all week...

Champagne in Follies after Saturday's race?

Absolutely fantastic achievemnt for John and Tom - they competed so well - did all the right things at the right time, gave theirselves opportunities and took them. Really good guys too and so pleased for them. Also a lot of support from Mark and Debs and a true team.

Also of course really pleased to see the VS22 go so well and more potential yet. Testing is still in early days and much more to do. The other VS22 with Adrian was also showing very good speed by the end of the event too.

Anyway - my thanks to a really deserving World Championship winning team - and will have to get togther for a celebration some time!
