Right, now that's all sorted, I'd also like to thank Onyx Presentations for the loan of the Projector & screen, Tony Hamilton for making everyone welcome at his pub, Cowes Yacht haven for slipping us in-between busy parts of a sailing event, which made it all nice n easy, all at Drivers for the hard graft, especially the craning staff, who have to do all that work, just to watch us bugger off and have fun, well, some of us and to hamble point marina for doing more damage to Simons cat recovering it than the capsize did!!

And of course, to those who took the time and effort to take part in the run, and make it such a crack.

Probably wont be any more this year, but if we can sort out all our short-comings, maybe a couple next season could be in order.

I do hope thats not a case of a few unapreciative people & an unfortunate accident spoiling things longterm for everyone else?

I wouldnt have thought so Chaos, if hardened boaters were put off by that then they would very unlikely be the sort of people to get into power boating in the first place i reckon.

Your lucky mate, if there isnt another one this year you only have to wait til next year. I wont be able to attend one until at least 2009!

I notice that on another thread, members have recieved literature regarding claiming compensation for alleged injuries, for which they are not at fault. I would like to instigate a claim against Mr Chitty for an injury to my left foot, caused when I leapt into the waves, risking my life for Mr Chittys engine cover.
I still have a visible scar and suffer great pain. I have also developed a phobia of water. Can anyone recommend a company that will screw Mr Chitty for every penny he has????

What do you mean, 'developed'? you've always smelt like you very rarely go near it, especially in the form of a shower!

Exclamation Sports Boat & RIB Magazine

Hi All

Keep an eye out for the October Issue of Sports Boat & RIB Magazine (available from all excellent newsagents) this week as it features a three page write-up on the August poker run.

Thanks again to Drivers Wharf, Boatmad and Ceasar Marine for a good day out.

ps Did anyone find a small white mp3 player in the car park at Drivers Wharf? Reward for its safe return!
