Well done Jon & Nick,
I've been quiet lately as have had a lot on in and outside of work.
I'm so pleased you finally seem to be there,
I'd been hoping to get out on the water to see the fleet start tomorrow but have unfortunatley got to work cos we're having an open day for the new r*bs and kayaks.
Should still be able to hear the boats from the river though
I hope it all goes well and I can only wish the best of luck to you, your team and the rest of the fleet along with the organisers and everyone who has contributed to this race.
Hope everyone has an amazing time.
Will see you in August for the PR.
Maxim

It's a ginger crash hat, I aint got enough hair for it to be my locks.
Thanks for the wishes. It was rib weather today, so they cancelled the leg so it would be fair on the hard boats.

Great to see the Pic's of the boat running and doing so well considering like many teams the rush over the last few weeks to get her to the start line, I mentioned some time back on Fibnet that you were bound to have done your homework on these engines and they do look a very tidy unit, they do seem a very solid option so far to the Yanmars although they have less power but still 60+ is good going with that fuel payload...how do they feel in comparison to Leviathan's diesel engines and although racing is never a good measure do you think their fuel consumption is going to be a strong point with them
Sorry JF for the questions it just seems in today's world Fuel consumption and ease of servicing/costs is very important issue for boaters, good luck for the next stage
