mmmm, things are a little 'right up to the line', but until we got the moulding back here (3-1/2 weeks ago), we were at the mercy of suppliers. the progress since then has been quite respectable.

As for the superglue & duct tape, it aint a fknn V24!! it'll be fine.

Because there is so much going on I have been feeling numb about the whole event up until today. Emails just don't stop coming and I am having to fit them in amongst endless meetings.

But now i am seeing boats hitting or about to hit the water like Jon's and actually testing it is at last becoming exciting. Just hope they all make Plymouth, the longer they last the greater their chance of completing the race. Even Fabio is panicking about getting his three boats here because of the transport strike in France.

I think the trip to Milford Haven and the one to Bangor will sort the wheat from the chaff.

Talk about taking everything going down to the wire. My nerves can't stand it!!

Forget all that Mike!!!

Is someone turning up on the day with a green flag???

Or is it a cannon fired from the castle roof.

Nice!

Jon the boat is looking great, very nice rigging.

Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.

Your not the only one still working on finishing tho, Race marine have 2 RB08 boats in that are 'nearly' there!

Well done and best of luck with the testing.

He's not likely to wipeout the three main contenders on the start line hopefully.

Taken Friday off work booked myself a B&B in Southsea for an early start Saturday down on the common. I'm really keen to see Jons' Phantom in the flesh and hear how those Steyr diesels sound.

This time next week you will all be on the second leg!!!!
