Workmanship & Skill!
I saw all the evidence I need at Cowes, the rigging on that race chowdross was shite!...steel hydraulic fittings smeared with grease to stop em rusting, pidgeon shit welding holding an abortion of a stand-off bracket together......nice! If that's all they can manage for a boat that represents their products, you my misguided friend are welcome to it.

Now like I said, this thread isn't going to waste any more space here.

please go away.

Exactly! (but 5/6')

Mr kinslow, you are making a bloody fool of yourself here! Do yourself a big favour, and quit believing what you're told by your greasy little splasher friends.

That statement is pure fiction!

The finest Maltese pride and expertise goes into rigging their show boat!

(and this is the bit you can see!)

Mark Pascoe could learn a thing or two from this!

So hows that improving Steves design. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but don't Steves boats go faster in the calm than they do in a 6 foot sea. My P20 does!!!

I had to read that like five times to make sure I was reading it right!!!

That's coz it's bollox!

And as for cracks n stuff, you'll no doubt have looked at this boat in Cowes, 9 years old now, 4 years of that racing full time, and being driven harder than that 'splash' will ever see.

there isn't a single crack of any sort on this boat, and it looks a billion dollars better than that old shitter that chowdross turned up with and this aint no "factory" entry, it's a private boat.

Third overall, first in class.

1st, was unsurprisingly 'Negotiator' (class 1, 170mph top end), 2nd, was also unsurprisingly 'Brita' (6 litre, 100mph top end)

I believe there were plans to run a 200 foot chowdross (stretched mirror dinghy), with twin british seagull outboards that tops out at 300mph, but whilst testing the deck strength, 8 maltesers slipped and fell, leaving a light honeycomb mess everywhere, so they aborted the entry.

Now if that had been a 8 quid 'far east' fake, it would not only have survived, it would keep better time
