I think it is more of a case of these boats don't handle at all! Does anyone know what design they are or has had any experience of them???? And is still around to tell!

Xcats should be a doddle then for your steering wheel attendant !!

Apparently it is the handling that makes it fun !! I was told that if they handled well at such slow speed they would be boring to drive !!

I have to say if i was putting a promo video together to get people interested in racing, i too would show boats smashing into each other!!!! lol has anyone seen the 2008 review of the 150 boats, where on a start run, 4 boats side by side and the 2 outer boats pushed the inner 2 into each other?
this was in a straight line!

Any one seen the NZ/Aussie series, those boats handle well.

Looking at these videos it appears for a lot of the time the only thing in the water is outboard leg. So in fact you have no steering effect until the hull goes back in the water by which time you are so over corrected the result is inevitable.

The hulls are actually sound, the problem with the outfits is they are so F+£^%*ng heavy that they are trimming to get the boats running. one of the guys who raced with my dad a few times in OCR could not believe the difference in performance and handling to the honda 150 boats.
also it is the drivers putting the boat in funny shapes and the navis telling/ not telling them what is going on and where/ when to turn & go.

Thats more like it !! What motors are you guys running and what boat weights ? Looks like you have a more realistic power-weight ratio !!
