It's gonna feel a bit pedestrian with a 130 after that run Bob, what you need is a bigger A class engine spec!

He wouldn't have been sober enough to be on the M6 that time of day!!!
Many congratulations Bob on an absolutely brilliant achievement!!!
Next year you've got to aim for that 114.28mph to shut up the Noel Edmonds lookalike once and for all!!!

How did Helen fair with the electric boat? Running at Coniston with all of it's history would be a blast, maybe after Cowes 2010. It is in my little book of things to do in life while I'm still able to wipe my own ass.
It's a pitty it's not earlier in the year with maybe a better chance of good weather.

She established a World & National Record with a 72volt Hydro of 21.08mph.
The bigger boat didn't get to run because of technical issues.

Do you mean the Phantom? It was all a bit last minute with a borrowed motor that hadn't gone through the teething trouble period and it wasn't up there long enough to get going properly - Bob did very well though!

Nico ran the boat in Belgium on Wed this week with 300 XS at just over 90mph but was a bit lively in the cross winds and Nico said a bit close to the wall.
Time now to come down to earth and put the 130 Yam on it !!

Now that is one quick ski race boat, I know that the speeds will drop with a skier behind but still I can't of any other ski race hulls that can do that speed with a 300xs on it.
