Great to Swipes! Saw it doing 70mph the other day - I was however following Nick up the M3.

Going by my phone calls - sounding like nearly 15 boats at the moment!

Annie's not scarey!

She's a softie. I've never been able to take her too seriously after a little event back in about '97. TD & I were walking past the Rawlings hotel in Cowes and happened to glance through a window to see a full on stag doo underway. Annie had got herself quite heavily involved and at the moment we peered through the window, she was sat astride the head of a drunken 'stag' who was laying on the floor with onlookers cheering loudly (as you'd expect).

So,...when Annie starts giving me a bollocking (a regular occurance), I just think of that moment, and exhibit a little smile.

We talked about that for years.

I had to have counselling after witnessing "the incident", used to have terrible nightmares but I'm over the worst of it now!

I hope that Honda and ORDA competitors enjoyed the weekend as much as the big boats this year - that was certainly ML's plan.

Think its fair to say that the CPC was a different challenge for the Honda teams, and everyone i spoke to really enjoyed it - I certainly did - Times and historic results would be interesting, to see how we compared to the traditional 3c/3b racers of the past. The 150's in particular lapped up the rough stuff

Top weekend, credit to the organisers, loved it.
Credit to the Honda fleet aswell, 17 starters, all finished - albeit 1 spent most of the course chatting to the fishermen! cruising around in engine get me home mode!

You weren't 'The Stag' were you? (couldn't see your face! )

Sure we drove a bit quicker in the race the following day after witnessing that.
