Spot of memory trouble, have we?
The first time you started whinging, I offered to drop it off at your house rather than drivers, as you live less than a mile away from me.
For some reason you declined and said whenever I was next at drivers was fine. I paid you the very next time I was at drivers.
Moreover, it was twenty quid, and as I gave you 30, you owe me a tenner, which you appear to have conveniently forgotten.
The answer is yes, in so far as I'll pay the 100 quid whenever you decide you want it. And to whatever charity you favour.
When I win, I'd like my winnings paid to directly Cancer Research on 1st June please.

So we're agreed then. Your boat running by end of may.
Not motors running on the shore
Not sitting stationary in the water.
Don't try and play any silly word games.

Oh Matt,
Honestly its like taking Candy from a Baby... read your Original quote above Highlighted in Red (for your ease of recognition)
& my reply to you quoted above Highlighted in red (for your easy of recognition)
You now, by your own Volition seek to renegotiate the terms of our agreement Highlighted in Red (for your ease of recognition)
.. its not silly word games just what you said and I agreed to but if you want to change the rules once the game has started - well in the spirit of Charity who am I to offend your Comprehension of the standard written English word.
Jon Can I apply to be a moderator as it seems the only skill you need is the ability to have a very short memory

OK, so rather than take on a light hearted bet to the benefit of a charity, you elect to play word games instead. It seems you know as well as any that it won't be running by May.

Right...
The Wager/Bet is.....
£100
Conditions are:
Pash 1 will Pay to the Charity of Matts Choice the sum of £100 Gift Aided if the boat known as Double 2 Shirts a Planatec 41 is not :
a) running on both engines
b) capable of both forward and reverse motion under the power of the said engines without being tethered to any shore based restraint.
c) Floats without the assistance of any artificial devices
Matt will Pay to the Charity of Pash 1's choice the sum of £100 Gift Aided if any of the above stipulations are not met by sunset on the 31st May 2009
Any amount to be paid will be paid in full on the 1st June 2009 copy receipts to be posted on this website.....
Is that clear enough for you Matt (in the light hearted spirit of Charity)

Would you prepared to go so far to say it should get on the plane, or is that pushing it?
