how do you get a mould perfect. i look along the under water profile of my boat and the hull is so straight on the chimes and other surfaces.do you just get near and sand and sand

a lot of hard, time consuming work........ using "Fairing Sticks" which are various size sanding boards ranging from 2' to 8' long. Once the filler is perfectly flat the the whole process is repeated on the pattern resin, from 40 grit to 60 to 80 to 120 to 240, then onto the wet sanding 400 then 1200 then polishing compound.....

wow, went to make gav warm last night but i think you would get more heat out of a fridge
however the new boat looks ace, i sat in the drivers seat (well sort of) just one point though dude, i think you should maybe check the rubrail area

heres how we have done the flange/ fender rail.....
the red bit is the moulding we had taken from the hull plug......
the blue bit is 3/4 ply attatched to the inside of the fender rail......
the grey bit is 1/4 ply to allow for laminate thickness on the deck....
