passing northof the red marker, leaving the marker on your Starboard side.
Yes, pass north, not south...

Fek me they sideboards havent harf grow in.
Must av been 20 years since Scott ad hair on is head like that.
I had me Jimmy hat ready for this weekend, but the weather looked tricky on Thursday onwards, and as you know got let down with the Avon i was coming down for, what do you expect from a Rib net guy.
So in the end all i was coming down for was the Chilli, hope it all goes well for Jon and everyone this evening, in take it you will be be going over Bigbird?

Yes it was a shame the weather was not kind to all the crews/event.
I am sure Tricky will put his own thoughts on this thread, however i have a few of my own.
It was great to see so many people yesterday and all the crews were really fantastic.
Thanks to Drivers (Gill who worked her socks off, all of her team and Boatshed for the soup it was most welcome)
To the officials who worked very hard to try to get the race on, the guys who craned the boats in and anyone else from Drivers i may have forgotten.
To Fiona P for doing the auction, and those for the items, JF for his footage of races.
Now to some very important people who without we would have been stuffed, the safety crews who worked in a very professional manner. To JF who took me and others over to the Isle Of Wright the highlight of a wet and windy day for me it was awesome!
A good deal of money was raised for Ben and others i believe that was what it was all about. Lastly to the 6ft 4 monster who put a lot of hard work into everything.Same thing next year?? just maybe a little earlier it will take me days to sort my hair out!!!!

Thanks for the trip over to Cowes need to go to Nick Gilley, as I'd decided not to to run my boat, so we were in his XS, which is indeed, awsome.

Yes it was a fun day - shame about the race but thats boating I spose, Jon your wifes chilli mmmmmmmmm....
Nice to see all of the faces and putting them to the "Names", Matt hope you likes the pickies,,,,, next time dont go soooooo fast on your fly by
Well done Gill and everybody at Drivers the money raised went to a very deserving cause.
Now to the day, My boat was a tad sluggish, putting that down to filling up with 240lts of fuel (making a grand total of 100 gallons of Squirt) and a 15 stone passanger - nothing to do with my driving skills coupled with a "Full English" at Winchester Services - think the latter is closer to the truth - Keith my crew member and myself got soaked going "Through" a wave rather than "Over" a wave so i need to book a lesson or four with Neil to hone my wave attack skills
Hi to Denise ah ha got you first.......
here are some pickies of the day...
And Who is the Terrorist in the second Pickie? could it be "Osama Been Boating"

I'm working on the award for the crew with all the gear and no idea, it may take a while!
The caught with the trousers down bit i do understand, but the best rear of the year award is being highly contested at the moment and the field is wide open!
Watch this space!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know who the photographer up the mast was outside Cowes yesterday? Also where and when the pics might appear?

Quite an expensive weekend. I put a pushrod through the head, whilst leaving Southampton Harbour.....
However - we did raise £800 for Ben Ridd!!
The RNLI did not fair so well, with £0 raised for them!!
