Nothing to do with Phantoms!
It's just some ideas we're talking about right now - I really want to put a boat together for Endurance, it looks like I may be building one rather than buying one though!

Not as much as you would think - that one is a bit bigger than I think we will end up with, but something that fits into E class would be nice - still need motors of some sort though! Yanmars are favourite at the moment, but then I haven't heard how much they are going to cost me yet! :-)

That will be interesting!
Design looks nice. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh.

Would that cockpit be considered open or canopy?

It is still only conceptual and a lot of work needs to be done before we get happy with the fibreglass, but it may work if my plans for financing it work out!
The half canopy seems legal for endurance, and I know we can keep it strong enough, there is an obvious cost in the restraint and air system as well as a strong screen, and with British weather it would be worth considering. Probably keeping it down to the sort of size we can build in our workshop which would limit us to about 32 - 34 feet I think.

So, when are we going to see the floor at BananaSplits getting marked up with the beginings of the plug?
You'll need to get a wiggle on if you're gonna make the startline off Waterford on May 8th next year. Kitten'll have to start working full days, and more than a 3 day week!

Length to be decided - may draw outboard and inboard versions, but the Yanmars are the preferred route.
The most important thing is to decide on power and fund them, so it won't be this week, but I'm told Scand's software can draw templates for the skin of a plug as well as the stations, so making a plug can be done quite quickly - I'll let him reply to you JF!
No tubes on this one at the moment!
