Is that the same doctor that owns the Toleman / Styvesant Bertram?

Here's Private Entry as Doggone Again...

Certainly a beautifully-proportioned boat.

Yes the good doctor had quite a collection at one time, not sure what he has now.

A couple of pits photos of the boat.

Pension..?! Nobody said anything about a pension..!!

That's what he meant when he said I've got a pension for that kind of thing...

Or was it penchant?

Anyway, when can I cash-it-in? ...I've got a deck to build..!

For Sale...

Anyways... This NELSON 34 that you have FOR SALE, Rob...

(Along-with the very RARE collector's item ENFIELD 26...)

Subtle...huh?

Is it the one with the large, open (some would say, capacious!) cockpit....

or the version with the cosy, refined aft cabin?

(Lord, I'm turning into a maritime estate agent...)

Sounds very much like Ernie Sims bought the name in 1969 when John Goulandris was pumping money in,and Miss Enfield I was one of the first boats built.
Other than him being the money man behind the Sopwith boats, there were Greek patrol boats that we did, built at Enfield,Wootton.

Can`t think what your map refers to.Isn`t the wind turbine place in that area.

Nellie

Top left thumbnail is the actual boat. Have just spent a lot of money on her but now I have fallen into the clutches of the speed brigade I just will not have time to use her. She is a launch with a loo (new), a big wheelhouse, two rudimentary berths and a great cockpit. They are great sea boats and I think she pulls about 21 kts with the foot to the floor. She is pretty basic but good fun. Long range tanks. It it really honks on RB 2011 ..............

Time and place...

Looks a good and useful vessel... and Nelson hulls are legendary. Probably why they're used by the police and by Trinity House as pilot boats.

Progress on the Magnum is very slow...Though better to "do it right" than to rush and do it badly... What I need is advice.

However, this is not the place to discuss a Magnum....I've intruded enough on (what has become..) Rob's thread, so I will revive the "Sad photos" one if that's ok. Doubtless I'll have the p#ss ripped out of me, but it's no more than I richly deserve...

Much of the talk (apart from the gay repartee..!) has been along the lines, literally, of the Shead / Planatec / Enfield developments, so I hope you don't mind.

Blimey Graham! A bit of artistic licence there - completely removing two boats from the background! I figured I might as well save myself the trouble of correcting the copy that Adam sent to me seeing as you have done such a sterling job! But I couldn't resist altering the sky and correcting the colour cast..........!
