Stronger? Haven't seen many lead buildings, seen the odd steel reinforced concrete one though.
However, the lead would be a good protection from radiation - does the race go through the Barents Sea?

Can someone please tell me, should we use a waterproof membrane when pouring the concrete or is the fibreglass waterproof enough on it's own?
