Rb08 Website
Well done John for providing an informative website throughout.Wish there was more for the National scene as it`s pretty dire at present with it`s lack of feedback of results etc.

Overall results
Norwegians & Swedes on the podium - but I am even more impressed by Swipewipes.co.uk - Considered the short time for preparation they have proven Real (hard) Boats below 35 feet still have a fair chance in world class endurance races like the Round Britain 2008.
Congratulations to Mr. Fuller & Gilley - and the team behind them
best regards
T Lind

And not to forget Power Products. Well done Rod and Martin, a very credible 14th overall. Shows the ski racers can mix it up in a bit of offshore. I 've heard Rods gonna ski it next year

Pah, I'll ave you know we were having lunch whilst the welding was going on and witnessing the end of mark pascoes day being craned out and trailered away.
Done close to 150 miles ourselves today and have to say I feel for these rb boys and their fuel bills

Lets hope the Fountain/Blastoff team and Cinzano find some form should they enter the CTC

Confused as to trophy awards..
Ummmmmn - Dont know why or what the story is - can someone enlighten me? I congratulated James on winning and asked about his 'bit of tatt' from Bananashark.
I was told he did not win the Bananashark trophy. Any ideas why? I thought he was the fastest RIB in the race?
Anyone?

Shelley started and did the first leg in the rear "seat" and drove on the canal section - the Lochs have no speed limit!
Sarah did not start.
Not sure about why James didn't get the first RIB trophy - may be an official reason such as the first Gold finisher or something?

We won a trophy which had "Best Presented RIB" on it which I can't quite get my head round. Andy has an unbelieveable boat but I wouldn't have said it was the best presented.
