Poor old JM must be rushed of his feet looking after all the "oldies" or we would be getting up to the minute results and info....not fair to expect one person to do everything..............

Hi Adam, very sorry to read about your teams very unfortunate run of events, first watched the boat at the CR you entered and having read about your hull on various postings over the year all looked really good and it seemed to run very level and looked good, therefore it must be immensely frustrating to have gone that far and come up against all those problems but I think it's fair to say you did your bit in so much as a great hull

Thanks Tim I am now in Oban results now updated on RB site- trying to keep things together - but this is one hell of a task - I can see the finish line today - all being well faster service.

Astray Boats

Can someone please tell me what happens to the boats that are no longer in the race?

Why are some of the boats off course as is the case with Team Garmin, navigations gone a bit wonkey or they don't have their glasses on, should they not be heading towards Oban and not Aberystwyth?

I don't think Garmin are 'off course' so to speak and, as the map view shows them sat in Aberystwyth Harbour, it's more a case of wonkey engines than navigation. Looks like Hannes and crew will be enjoying some Islay Whisky shortly... if Marine Track is to be believed that is!

Great pictures but what on earth are the boats doing hidden away in an MOD facility when there is a perfect marina 3 miles up the haven where the public could have seen and heard the great spectacular.

Hope it wasn't down to the Welsh welcome?

Drove up there from Devon to sit in a car park (next door) great!
