Mr Kitten, is that the ply you intend using as the tank floor?
Is that 18mm shuttering ply?
Thought we were going for 12mm Gaboon ply with Aramat under-sheath!

Kev, looking at that pic of the transom, the 'brackets' look ever so high!
Is the top of them only 50mm above crankshaft centreline?.. looks much higher.
As a comparison, the top of the knee should end up 3" higher than in my 28, a picture of which is below. the red line shows CCL of my 28, the 31 has the CCL 1" higher, and the top of the knee should be 50mm above that.
I hate to say it, but it looks like you've lined the bottom of the 4 brackets up at 50mm above CCL instead of the top.

Yes, I think you're probably right.
I guess we and the rest of RB4 just need to thank our lucky stars you didn't find sponsorship eh.

May be you should do the race then, I'm sure you could get in. Then we will all know how good your boat/engines are. After all your boat is ready, and it has a FM radio so you can listen to some music on this all too easy race.
Or are you like to many racers who even after the race say, "my boat could have won that" or if you do the race and have a break down of some sort do you still say "my boat could have won that if I had not had the break down".
I here it all to often in motorsport.
I for one want to see as many boats as possible in this race so go on re-enter and let us all see this epic battle in rb4.

I think you might be over reacting there a bit.
Taz was just having a bit o fun with Jon and did not mean any disrespect to him, his boat or his racing ability, he was just asking what is the theory behind the extra length in the boat.

In short I think the people involved with the P33 project know what they are doing.
